I need to install LV3/4000 as virtual com port with Win10 and it is not working

LV3000/4000 Win10 Driver install for Virtual Com port:

First the display link driver needs to be installed. Best choice is from www.displaylink.com for your display for Win10.. After this install completes you should have a connection with your computer and pole as seen under “hidden devices” bottom right corner ^ of toolbar.. If another display driver was installed check again under Hidden Devices, bottom right corner of toolbar. You will need to run the utility from the link below for the unsigned driver that will be installed after this utility from below if you are using Win10 and need a com port for the display:

Hold down SHIFT key and click Restart> "Scroll down to option 2"

Use Option 2: Advanced Boot Option Mode.

Select Troubleshoot>Advanced Options>Click Startup Settings> Click Restart (lower right side) When computer restarts click 7 to disable

You may need to restart your computer while installing from the above steps you take for this. After this is run this you will now need to install the Logic Controls Virtual Com Port driver from the next link below:

https://logiccontrols.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/zip/LCIVPSetup-1.zip

After this link is installed you should check in device manager under “ports” and check if you see LCI Virtual Display with a com port #. If so you are in good shape.. Then you would need to run the virtual display as administrator>>You may/should have an icon on your desktop that says LCI Virtual Display.. Right click on this icon and left click on Properties, Click on the “Shortcut” tab on top and click on “Open File Location”.. >> Right click on the LCI Virtual.exe folder and click run as Administrator.. Hopefully that should complete the Com port installation using Win10 and RMA software..
