      KitchenGo Premium New Features

      Increased Station ID Limit

      • Expanded station ID maximum from 99 to 999 to support large clients with extensive station setups.

      Condiment & Modifier Database

      • Added a dedicated database for condiments and modifiers, similar to the existing item router.
      • Added the option “Add received condiments to database automatically”
      • Condiments are now categorized under "Groups."
      • New tab options for "Items," "Condiments," and "Modifiers."
      • Import/export functionality now includes condiments and modifiers.
      • Backwards compatibility ensures older imports function correctly.

      Order Transfer Enhancements

      • When transferring an order or item to another station:
        • Queue display now updates the status to “Being Prepared.”
        • SMS notifications trigger correctly when applicable.
        • Expo station now displays a transfer action icon on affected orders.

      New "Parked Orders" Tab

      • A new tab in the tab display for managing parked orders.
      • Users can view, manage, and unpark orders from the tab.
      • Orders show timers indicating parking duration.
      • Option to bump or unpark orders directly.

      Runner by Fire

      • Orders now do not appear on prep stations unless they are fired from the runner station.
      • Items fired individually will appear only when fired.
      • Once bumped, an order remains hidden until the next item is fired.

      Router Database Sorting:

      • Sorting options added: A-Z, Z-A, oldest-newest, newest-oldest.
      • Sorting works for groups, modifiers, items, condiments, and modifier levels.

      Advanced Logging option

      • SETTINGS> LOG> LOGMODE> ADVANCED. Premium currently brings in “basic” log data including pulling devices from the database. For stores with large device history this may cause the KDS to crash and freeze. This data has been moved from the basic log to the advanced log for troubleshooting.

      Use Unique ID instead of MAC

      • When using a device with Android greater than 10, the serial number will be a random number after each reboot or login which will not match the corresponding serial it used at licensing activation logged in the kdsgo.com site. When adding a device for the first time, select this option as a workaround for devices greater than Android 10.

      Disable Bump Option

      • New setting prevents manual bumping, allowing only other stations or autobump to move orders. SETTINGS> BUMPING SETTINGS> DISABLE BUMPING

       

      Enhancements & Improvements

      Visual & User Experience Improvements

      • New Order Flash: Orders now flash yellow by default when received. The flash duration is configurable.
      • Split Screen by Destination: Orders can now be sorted on split screens based on destinations (e.g., To-Go on top, Dine-In on bottom).
      • "Enable Buildcard Touch Button" Renamed: Now labeled "Enable Recipe Touch Button."
      • Continue Button Placement: Restored to the footer/bottom border for ease of access.
      • Active Stations Dialog: Bottom line of the dialog now renders properly.
      • Renamed “Enable [buildcard] touch button” to “Enable [recipe] touch button”
      • For “Item showing method – one item behind” option, added a graphical downward arrow to indicate there are additional items hidden.

      Performance & Stability Fixes

      • Pusher Tweak on KDS:
        • Fixed crash caused by blocked network access to Pusher.
        • Now properly removes old Pusher event listeners before creating a new connection.
        • Introduced a 5-second delay when attempting to reconnect to Pusher.
      • Bin Management - Threshold Alarm Fix:
        • Alarm now correctly triggers even if orders are bumped.
        • The number of times the alarm is triggered now displays in the alert (e.g., x3).
      • Print Settings - Fire Item Adjustment:
        • Now correctly prints only the fired item, not the entire order.
      • Added Print Settings - SETTINGS> PRINTER SETTINGS> HOW TO PRINT ORDER> PRINT VIA FIRE
      • Remake Workflow Enhancements:
        • When an order is remade, the original items are now crossed out, with a "Remake" label and timer.
        • Expo remakes now properly reflect on prep stations.
        • An option to hide original items in remake settings has been added.

       

       KitchenGo Premium Bug Fixes

      • Autobump Parked Orders: Parked Orders no longer disappear when they are auto bumped; they now appear in the bumped list.
      • Spy Station Expo Transfer: Spy Station now transfers orders to a different station instead of just removing them.
      • POS Message Deletion Fix: Deleting POS messages from the popup window now functions correctly.
      • Condiment Quantity Modification: Users can now modify condiment quantities via XML.
      • ReferenceID Modification: Orders can now be modified to include a ReferenceID via XML.
      • Pager Settings Removed: This feature is no longer supported and has been removed from settings.
      • KDSGO Website: When creating a new contact info entry in Kdsgo.com for Distributor/reseller/store, when entering the address, the correct time zone was not set for the location.
      • SMB Connections: Improved stability, reliability and user experience for SMB connections
      • Consolidate Condiments: All condiments with the same description will be consolidated with this option on. Previously this was not functioning correctly and has been resolved.
