Sign up
- Fill in all the following fields to sign up
- For you choose you language choose “I’m not a developer”
- Press Get Started
Verification
- Enter your phone number to verify
- Press verify
- It will then send a text message to verify you are a real user
Project template
- Click on products
- Select Programable SMS and Phone Numbers
- Click continue on the bottom
Project name
- You can give the project a name if preferred
- You can click “Skip Remaining Steps” on the bottom
Phone number
- Click on the “#” which is the phone numbers on the left-hand side.
- Click on the Get Started under Active Numbers
- Click “Get your first Twilio phone number”
- Click on “Choose this Number”
- If you want a different number you can click on the “Search for a different number”
- Right this number down to help, it will be used in later steps
Account info
- Click on the house button on the top left to bring you back to the dashboard
- You may need to click on the on the right to bring down the project info dropdown
- You will need to copy the “Account SID” and the “Auth Token”
- You will need to log into your store and go to the config page. (Note: Check earlier slides on how to log into your store)
- Click on Marketplace tab on the top
- Click on Edit under Twilio
- Enter your “Account SID”, “Token” and “Phone From”
- All of these fields above are from Twilio.
