When the KDS timer counts backwards with a negative timer, this indicates there is a device that has incorrect time settings.
To be sure all devices are in time sync, on each device:
- Log out of the software (don't let it auto log you back in)
- check and correct if needed the time/ time-zone on each device
- we recommend manually setting the time-zone
- Go to app management and delete the cache for Kitchen Premium (might need to do this outside business hours as orders will be cleared)
- Restart the KDS
- Log back in and check that each device time is correct in the upper right corner.
- Send an order to test.
Additionally, Check that the times on the orders coming from the POS are in sync also. If the POS sends xml orders with incorrect time stamps, this can also create time sync issues.
